Healing After Trauma

Exploring the myths, the facts and the impact of rape and sexual abuse

As therapists, it is crucial that we have a strong understanding of the impact that sexual violence can have on our clients' lives, as well as the best practices for supporting those who have experienced it. In this CPD we explore the myths and facts that surround sexual violence. We look at the significant impact this has on individuals and how we can support them in the counselling room including the benefits of psycho-education. (1Hr 46 Mins)
