Creative Art Journaling Series

Hidden Words

In this session, we’ll be guiding you through some creative journaling practises: In the next session of creative art journalling, it’s time for “hidden words and hidden meanings”. I’m going to be sharing one of my favourite self-awareness tools and helping you explore what resonates with you. What to bring: any journal, notebook or loose paper – bring some extra loose paper just in case! Something to write with Paint such as acrylic, watercolour or gesso– if you don’t have any paint, you can use pieces of paper and glue. A few basic art supplies like pens, markers, crayons, paints – whatever you have available If you enjoy collaging, feel free to bring magazines, tape, stickers or scraps of paper, glue and scissors. Choose a piece of text to bring from a book, magazine or newspaper article. You will be invited to use this in your creative art journal so if it’s something precious you might want to take a copy of it first and use the copy. A hairdryer or creative drying tool. This session is all about you—a space for creativity, self-discovery, and exploration. There’s no right or wrong way to approach this process; simply come with an open mind and a willingness to be who you are
