In this recorded Creative Journaling session, you’re invited to explore those quiet “what if” moments that spark imagination, possibility, and new perspectives. Using gentle prompts, playful experimentation, watercolour, and movement, you’ll discover ways to loosen perfectionism and allow ideas, emotions, and images to flow more freely onto the page. This is not about creating something polished or impressive. It’s about slowing down, listening inward, and letting your journal come alive in whatever way feels right for you. This on-demand session offers: Gentle, guided journaling and creative prompts Space for curiosity, reflection, and playful exploration Invitations to work with colour, words, and movement A warm, supportive atmosphere — even through the recording Time to create at your own pace, with plenty of permission to pause You’ll be encouraged to notice what emerges naturally, helping you: Reconnect with your creative rhythm Soften self-criticism and perfectionism Explore emotions in a non-pressured way Feel more grounded, expressive, and connected to yourself Materials You’ll Need You don’t need anything fancy — just what you already have. Suggested materials: A journal or sketchbook Some loose paper Paints (watercolours, acrylics, or inks) Pens, pencils, or markers A hairdryer (optional, for quick drying) Any favourite creative extras that inspire you Work intuitively — there’s no “right” way to use the materials.

Julie Kuhn

Julie Kuhn is a counsellor passionate about blending creativity and self-awareness to support personal growth. She works as a private practitioner mainly online and via telephone, with a scattering of walk-and-talk sessions. Jules supports clients with their general difficulties as well as helping them build self-esteem and break free from people-pleasing tendencies. Person-centered at her core, she uses a mix of therapeutic techniques and creative arts to empower her clients. Journaling has become the cornerstone of Jules’ personal and professional journey. Through creative journaling, she has discovered ways to reduce perfectionism and gained an outlet that helps her reflect on and process her feelings. Jules enjoys using art materials and is continually surprised by the wonderful light bulb moments that add to her personal growth. As a qualified creative arts counsellor, Jules has completed the CCC Creative Pathway course, which has enriched her work and deepened her understanding of creative expression. Whether in workshops or one-to-one sessions, Jules is dedicated to helping others unlock the power of creativity for self-expression and personal growth.
