In this creative workshop, you’ll: This experiential workshop explores creative, trauma-informed ways of working with clients to nurture Post-Traumatic Growth (PTG) after times of adversity. You’ll situate PTG within a trauma-informed framework and learn how a range of accessible creative approaches can help clients reconnect with strengths, meaning, and future possibilities, at a pace that honours safety and choice. Expect a gentle, reflective space with guided demos, micro-practices, and time for questions You’ll learn how to Understand PTG principles and how they complement trauma-informed practice. Use creative interventions (writing, imagery, metaphor, simple making) to safely invite reflection, expression, and meaning-making. Integrate practices into sessions to support regulation, resource-building, and narrative re-authoring. Apply immediately with take-away prompts and tools suitable for varied client needs. MEET YOUR FACILITATOR

Tanja Sharpe

Tanja is the founder and co-director of Creative Counsellors. She is an Integrative Counsellor, Therapeutic Coach, Clinical Supervisor, Business Mentor and best-selling author of 'Creative Counselling: Tools & Interventions to Nurture Therapeutic Relationships'. She has also authored the "CBT Doodling for Kids" series. She is a registered member of the BACP and NCPS and has a private practice based online. She has previously worked as a counsellor within the NHS & Rape Crisis. She is passionate about advocating for a more creative approach to counselling to suit the needs of the client as well as ending counsellor isolation and burn out through her community efforts.
