This training is designed to enhance your understanding of Autistic and ADHD Burnout, delving into its impact on mental health. The session, presented as PsychoEducation, is facilitated by Jill, with an open discussion for further exploration. Aims of the Session: Enable therapists to recognize Burnout in their Autistic/ADHD clients and provide guidance on managing recovery. Enhance therapists' understanding of our 8 senses and their impact on overall well-being. Educate therapists on Burnout cycles and the repercussions of both over and under-stimulation. Encourage therapists to avoid harm by adopting a Neurodivergent-affirming approach, rather than applying Neuronormative strategies. Required Resources: Participants are encouraged to have a pen and notepad at hand to take notes throughout the session.

Jill Holly Beason

Jill Holly Beason operates as a Person-Centered Counsellor situated in Oxfordshire, UK, offering online services as well. Jill, who is diagnosed with ADHD and Autism later in life, primarily focuses on a client base comprising individuals with ADHD and Autism.


Having a background in Family Work, Jill's passion lies in collaborating with adults and providing training on ADHD and Autism. Despite facing challenges such as fatigue, migraines, and experiencing burnouts, which led to an increased understanding of Neurodivergent encounters, Jill remains committed to her work. While being inherently creative and drawn to nature, she acknowledges the need to indulge in these pursuits more frequently.


Jill strongly believes in the healing power of shared experiences and community support, viewing them as equally beneficial as therapy. She advocates for the removal of barriers and oppression, emphasizing the importance of mutual learning. Jill's authentic approach is characterized by vulnerability and honesty, despite her candid admission of being occasionally profane, unpunctual, and disorganized. She finds humor in many aspects of life but can demonstrate a serious demeanor in the face of injustice or when necessary.
